When to Expect Funds to Be Available After Initiating a Deposit

This article will help explain when to expect your funds to be available when depositing funds from your bank account to the Bakkt® App. 

After making a deposit in the Bakkt App, expect it to reflect as available within your account in 3-4 business days. Please keep in mind the following points regarding the expectancy of your deposit:

  • Once the deposited funds are available, they will then reflect under your Available Cash.

  • Please keep in mind that Saturday, Sunday, and holidays do not fall on business days.

  • Any deposit made after 7 PM EST time is processed the following business day.

  • If a deposit is rejected for any reason it will take an additional 2-3 business days for the transaction to complete.

  • More than 2 rejected deposit attempts initiated under an account will lead to an account lock. Please reach out to customer support at 1-800-322-1719 if you believe your account was compromised. 

  • Bakkt follows the holiday calendar designated by the Federal Reserve System. Click here to view a list of observed holidays.
